What is BYX?

Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX) is the nation’s largest Christian fraternity.

Founded in 1985, we exist to equip and empower college Christian men to live faithfully and lead courageously. Lasting far beyond the college years, BYX (pronounced “Bucs”) is a lifelong community that provides spiritual growth, social connections and selfless leadership through life-changing experiences and a lot of fun.

From student government and homecoming court to academic honor societies, you’ll find BYX members involved and making a gospel impact on campus. You’ll also find BYX alumni leading Fortune 500 companies, successful start-ups and nonprofits nationwide.

1. The college campus is one of the greatest unreached places on the planet.

2. Most lifelong faith commitments are made before 25. Reaching men during college shapes future churchmen, pastors, elders, deacons, husbands, fathers, and missionaries.
