To equip and empower college Christian men to live faithfully and lead courageously.

Our Vision

Everywhere, every day, BYX men are raising families, leading organizations and strengthening churches to impact our communities for Christ.

Our Values

Values express how we act. They are the filter for every decision we make and action we take. At BYX, we have five core values:

We lead with faith.

Our faith in Jesus Christ guides everything we think, say and do. Although each of us is unique, our faith unites us — providing a common bond and singular purpose.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” (Prov 3:5-6)

We act with courage.

BYX members are called to pursue a courageous lifestyle. We remain true to our purpose, never swayed by external pressures and unafraid to face adversity.

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

We model excellence.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards — in speech, conduct, love and faith. To honor the letters we’re blessed to wear, we use our God-given gifts to their fullest potential.

“Whatever work you do, do it with all your heart. Do it for the Lord and not for men.” (Col 3:23)

We strengthen each other.

None of us are as strong as all of us. Just as iron sharpens iron, we sharpen one another — putting the group’s best interest before our own and shouldering the load for those in need.

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (1 Thess 5:11)

We show up authentically.

We are serious about our faith and have a lot of fun. Because we are honest with ourselves and each other, we are real and true to who we are in every situation.

“Clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Peter 5:5)

Welcome to Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX). We’re a national fraternity of men who believe there’s a more meaningful way to enjoy college and fulfill God’s purpose for our lives. We exist to equip and empower college Christian men to live faithfully and lead courageously.

Today, we launch the new BYX brand. More than just a new logo, we’re stepping into a new era of excellence, confidence, and clarity. We’re just getting started. Nice to meet you again!
